We believe great date nights should always include good food and drinks. Although we don’t require fine dining all the time, it is always nice to treat yourself + bae to a different (and yummy) experience. Looking for a fall date night idea? Why not try an off-menu dinner (with drink pairings, of course) with some of NOLA’s best chefs.
Counter Club At Toups South
1504 Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard
Since opening in October 2016, Toups South has been Chef Isaac Toups’ culinary playground for out of the box southern regional cuisine. Now, Top Chef fans and our fellow foodies can spend one night a month at his new intimate off-menu dinner series, Counter Club. These dinners will take place the third Thursday of every month, launching on Thursday, September 21.
This week, we had a little preview of what Counter Club will look like and we were blown away. Chef Toups’ dishes were fresh, inventive and oh, so tasty!
The monthly themed dinners, priced at $50 per person (excludes beverages, tax and gratuity), include four courses, plus an amuse bouche and welcome cocktail. There are only 18 seats available at the counter every month, so book early!
