Why You Need To Go To Commander’s Palace Right Now

You know we love to explore the latest hot spots in New Orleans and the world, but there are some places that will forever be iconic and are a must to visit time and time again.

With the New Orleans Tricentennial this year, and Commander’s Palace celebrating their 125th anniversary, we decided to pay a visit to this American institution.

There is a lot more to Commander’s Palace than just setting up a reservation and going over for a meal. These days, the restaurant is full of exciting events that celebrate the new and honor the old. Last week, we decided to do a little bit of both on a double date night with our favorite bros.

We started off our Wine Wednesday with Commander’s Palace’s Sips Of Summer. They’ve partnered up with Swirl Wine Bar for these tastings where you get to try 35 Wines for just $39! Of course, the wines are paired with some tasty bites from Chef Tory’s kitchen. Although we are sad to announce that the August Sips of Summer is sold out, the September 19th one is wide open! We suggest you get your tickets ASAP here.

Rosé All Day

After making our rounds and trying as many rosés as we possibly could, we walked over to the iconic Garden Room to meet our dates for an unforgettable dinner. Really y’all, if you have not been to Commander’s Palace for lunch, dinner or brunch, make a reservation NOW. Not only will you be dining in one of the most historic and regarded restaurants in the whole country, but the mere experience of stepping into Commander’s will make for a day to remember.

Want more Commander’s? You can’t miss the The American Cuisine and Hospitality Symposium on September 17th! The restaurant is hosting a day-long discussion about the future of food and hospitality in America. Several provocative sessions will be led by industry experts and thought leaders – their lineup is amazing y’all and we’re very excited about the panel topics. Want to see Lally Brennan, Leah Chase, Emeril Lagasse, Donald Link, Ti Adelaide Martin, Tory McPhail, and Jeremiah Tower under one roof? You can’t miss this. Get your tickets now.
