This week, we joined some of our favorite NOLA bloggers for a night of French King Cake, cocktails & other tasty eats at Meauxbar.
We were introduced to a Mardi Gras cocktail that is not your average “king cake cocktail”. Meauxbar’s Mardi Gras cocktail (featured for happy hour at the restaurant) is inspired by flavors found in both the traditional French king cake ‘galette des rois’, and in the traditional New Orleans style king cake.
Bar Director Gillian White decided to highlight some French spirits and pair them with some New Orleans based spirits for this festive cocktail.
