Rosa de Jamaica Ranch Water

My latest obsession: Ranch Water. It’s the simplest drink ever (and doesn’t have a ton of calories): tequila, Topo Chico and lime juice! It’s the perfect summer drink; it’s light, refreshing and will make you feel like you’re on vacation. This week, I decided to experiment and make my Ranch Water a little #extra by adding some Rosa de Jamaica (Hibiscus Juice).

This cocktail is easy to make and it’ll sure impress anyone you make it for. I don’t know about y’all, but I love sipping on pretty pink drinks.

If you’re wondering where you should buy your ingredients, head over to Total Wine. Their stores are a dream and I love walking in and picking out my items (wearing a mask, of course), however, if you don’t feel comfortable going in you can simply order online and pick up in store!

Ingredients:

Makes 1

  • 1.5 oz (1 shot) of Milagro Tequila infused with jalapeños (click here for instructions on how to infuse your tequila)
  • 3 oz (2 shots) of Rosa de Jamaica (Hibiscuis Juice – make according to packaging instructions, I used stevia to sweeten mine)
  • Juice of 1/2 a lime
  • Top with Topo Chico
  • Optional: Do a Tajín (Mexican chili powder) rim for an extra kick

Instructions

If you plan on doing a Tajín rim, start by cutting a lime wedge and moistening the rim of the glass with it. Then dip the glass in Tajín.

Add ice to your glass and pour in the tequila, Rosa de Jamaica & Lime juice. Top with Topo Chico and enjoy!
