Brandy Milk Punch is basically a boozy dessert in a glass. This cocktail is particularly popular during the holiday season throughout the South, but in New Orleans it’s acceptable to drink one of these year round.
- 1 shot brandy
- 1 cup whole milk (you can use almond milk to lighten the recipe)
- 1 ounce simple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Measure the brandy in a shot glass and pour into your shaker. Add all other ingredients, and shake vigorously until frothy. Pour over ice, and top with nutmeg. So simple, yet so delicious! This is one of those cocktails where the taste of the alcohol is masked by the sweetness so be careful, or don’t 😉
