If you are a New Orleans local, you’ve probably heard of Belladonna or at least seen it as you are strolling down Magazine Street. While it’s certainly the most beautiful spa in the city, it’s also a lot more than a place to freshen up your manicure, get a massage or beautifully done makeup for a special event.

The retail space at Belladonna is a reason to visit in itself. The selection of local clothing brands (some of our faves like Fringe & Co.) and art, carefully selected beauty products and other fun items make it the perfect place to find a gift. But, consider yourself warned, you will probably end up buying a few gifts for yourself too 😉 We found the most gorgeous kimonos for festival and pool season by a local designer! If shopping isn’t your thing, have someone do the work for you with Belladonn’a personal shoppers and gorgeous gift wrap. We personally think retail therapy is just as important to our sanity as relaxation time.

Tucked away behind the spa, Belladonna’s gorgeous suites are the perfect place to staycation, or for visitors who want to to have a peaceful stay in the heart of the Garden District.

If you are visiting the spa or staying in the suites, in addition to your services, you will have access to the relaxation room with complimentary champagne, as well as the hydrotherapy garden including a hot tub, steam room and a secluded tea garden featuring a covered relaxation area with a bubbling fish pond and fountain. Spending time in the hydrotherapy garden was just the reset our minds and bodies needed before a busy week.
